Mk3 should run a 195/50/15 or similar. Sounds like you have mk4 spec wheels on

I do have mk4 spec wheels on, I know this. Not sure if this is possible or a stupid question but can I use the tires from the stock wheels (the mk3 BBS wheels)?

They say pictures are a thousand words so here's one. The thing is, I couldn't really find where the wheels were rubbing but it did sound like they were so maybe it's actually the springs that are bad? I know that if I press into the car on the rear right the spring creaks. Was like this from the start.

If you find what causes the creak, let us know haha I have the same issue when I press the rear of the car. Also, what coilovers are you running?

    Cheers

Id say the top of tyre was hitting body.

As said above. Your tyre sizes are to big, even for factory mk3.

But no marks seems a bit strange, wouldn't there be visible marks?

Take the wheel off and you'll get a better idea if it's rubbing?
