Installed a MK4 R32 front brake setup today. Running plain rotors with EBC Redstuff pads, and a brake fluid flush and bleed. The car now stops with extreme urgency, I'm very happy with the upgrade.

Old 288mm vs new 334mm discs:

Had to file down the retaining clip a touch to clear the wheels but overall they fit well.

mind giving us a full side on shot? want to see how the 17's look but damn, this is great man!

how improved does the braking feel though? can you leave it to much later than the stock setup?

You can leave it very late before a corner compared to stock definitely. The limiting factor is the grip of the tyres really. But when it does grip it is excellent. I think it's the pads more than anything.

Ah this is sweet info man! I think I might do the upgrade too as I'll be rolling on 17's and R32 brakes would be cool to have.

Car is looking sweet by the way

Jeez, fills those 17s up nicely. I have never considered doing the breaks as I thought it stopped on a time pretty well as is (with stock engine anyways)

Good pads help a lot. But brakes for a 1500kg stopping a 1200kg car will always be better.
