There is a trick to keepoing the timing right when the belt has been off for future reference. On the Aux pulley that drives your oil pump and dissy mark it and the block. When you go to put the belt on turn the aux pulley a tooth to the right and fit the belt, pull the belt up onto the camshaft pulley and when doing so you are putting tension on the long side of the belt which in turn will turn your aux pulley till the marks line up. This way the dissy is exactly where it was and all the slack is on the tensioner side, tension it up and you are done. Never fails. Remember some of the later engines the dis is locked with a pin and you cant turn it , so i would use this method regardless. Have seen many a cherry red exhaust due to wrong timing.
Cheers
