sits above subframe
not sure about the extra bolt, i know i have to drill a hole in the baffle to allow the dip stick in

eurospec 268s
hd springs with l/w lifters
+2 intake
+1.8 exhaust
new valve guides and seals






the gear box is in bits for now
it will be a full rebuild
new bearings and 2nd gear synchro

tdi 5th gear
sachs stage 2 clutch
lightened flywheel 13 pound

hey yeah your head has the same marks/depressions between the coolant galleries as mine does. i called Rob about it, he said he didnt worry about welding it up and resurfacing it cos its between the pressure lines on the head gasket.
yay for engine work!

fly wheels almost before i started machining it

had to get it modified to suit obd1

larger throttle body to suit mani
also have to wire it to suit old managment
