Hi all, have any of you run 10mm ignition leads on a Mk3 Vr6 before? If so, what have your experiences been in doing so (good or bad). Looking at picking up a set and would love other users thoughts on whether worth the money.
Cheers,
What brand?
I was going to run mk4 leads but forgot and ordered normal mk3
I got these ordered in from the UK. The brand is called (HT) they make em by hand. here is a link to their ebay listing. You can order to run on msd coil or standard..

The major downside for me is they don't fit in the engine cover. However, how bad were the ones you took off, possibly a new set of standard ones would have made a noticeable improvement too?
Years ago when Splifure sparkplugs came out a UK magazine "gained" 15 hp on a 205 GTI. The thing to note was that the plugs they took out had a gap would could measure with a ruler not feeler gauges. So I am always skeptical of imrpovement claims.

yes, keep in mind that i took the photo as soon as installed, once in, i cable clipped them and they dont sit to bad at. Pretty neat considering. On the weekend, Ive got a set of champion double platinum plugs ot go in, and an oil change so i have no doubt should run better again.
The standard ones weren't to bad at all actually. Agree, didn't read to much into the claims but def can feel the better response upon throttle, very noticeable indeed
What where the plug ends like, standard style metal shrouded items? Pic of them would be great
