    Those pesky white door clips..

How do you get your door trims off without breaking these white connecting clips? And where do you get replacement clips from?

I havent tried myself to remove one yet, but I have a trim to go back into mine.

I've never had much luck with prying them out without breaking them. I suppose you could remove the door cards and pinch them out from the inside but that's just way too much hassle to be able to reuse a set of clips (for me anyway haha).

I bought a whole lot of them a few years back from an eBay vendor located in Kazakhstan of all places. They sold them new and they claimed they were genuine. Was quite cheap.

Did a quick search on eBay and looks like there's a fair number of listings.

Make sure you buy a bit of both though. VW used two different clips depending on where the holes were located - some are raised, some aren't.

If you try and do it gently, you break every clip. The way I do it, is to undoo the two screws under the cover for the handle, unscrew the door button. Then close the door as much as possible, then holding onto the pocket, swing the door open and as it reaches the end of its swing, briskly yank the door pocket. Trim comes off in one piece and breaks nothing! I have done hundreds of em like this and rarely break a clip. Also priceless seeing the owners face whilst I do it
