Is this something that would have been seen during a major service? because they didn't mention it to me...

By the way, is this outer or inner? (sorry if noob)

Also, where can I get this done ASAP?

Literally doing this myself within the next few weeks. I had a pre roadworthy inspection and my mechanic said its a RWC requirement :/.

Yep they should have spotted that, looks like drivers side inner to me, and no idea where abouts to get it done where you are but goes without saying not at the place that serviced it

I have been in contact with a place close to work, said they'd do it for $188 (all up). I think that sounds reasonable?

That sounds very fair! I'm doing it myself and it costing me $90! So $100 labour to save yourself a few hours is good!

Fixed and ready, also very happy with this mechanic and looks like this will be the place I go to, to get repairs done.

Nice work! No more spitting CV grease all over your wheels.

I've gotta wait for my kit to arrive from the UK

Also got recommendation about the top strut mounts, they are worn but noted that if we replace those then it will put pressure on the next weakest part and wear that out. Better to just do everything at once or wait it out until it gets worse.

Yea I'm doing my strut mounts tomorrow just to get it through the Roadworthy.

I'll be using a suspension refresh kit from ECS once I get some coils.
