    Sydney - MK3 VR6 FI

    Hi guys,

was wondering if anyone could point me to the direction of any people/person/workshop of Force induction (turbo & Supercharge) for my MK3 VR6?

Anyone has any experience in it or experienced it one way or another?

    Thanks in advance.

I know Seb at Euromotive is making one, exactly what kind of progess he's making on it I'm unsure of. Just bear in mind the cost of a complete and proper build including LSD, clutch, exhausts etc... and most significantly programming.

Good luck with your search regardless

Courtney is starting up her business atm, I think it's 'Euro Revolution?' anyway you can PM her (white vr6) or seb (bug_racer) about it and you'll get more info. Basically she's working with someone to get affordable turbo kits, especially for the vr6

Yeah I think one of them mentioned 5500 for the kit inc. programming, whether that was fitting as well or anything else I wasn't too sure as the details provided were a bit sparse. I think you'd be looking at a minimum of 10 large to complete the conversion properly

Thanks guys..yeah..that's why i want to talk to someone who can help me out with the setup.

Things i have noted down so far..

    1) Turbo setup (aftermarket FMIC or from MK4 GTi, Turbo...Garret or Mk4 stock?, PSI?)

    2) Internals..to strengthen the engine (if required)...lower comp

    3) Gearbox (clutch, flywheel, LSD, gears if need to change)

    4) Computer (Motec or aftermarket chip, giac etc)

    5) Others : Injectors, fuel rail, piping, etc

    6) Objective: what sort of power/torque curve + track-base or daily driver.

so yeah..need to get as much help as possible..plan a budget then work towards it =).

thanks for the swift replies guys

You're going about this a good way. Most that ask haven't done any of this! All of my mates want me to turbo mine when I'm off my P's so if yours goes down well, I'll have to get some pointers!

Good luck with it. Seb can be very helpful to you.

MoTeC on a vr6 would be very very win, but pricey.

Good luck with your build and keep us in the loop!

awesome, the more and more support we have with this motor.
My dream for my car would be to swap in a VR6T

What is the aim of this car?
    What is the budget?
Put together different scenarios and see what fits best.
What is the limit of stock components, does your budget cover this?
I don't know about Golf gearbox strength, I heard most Dubbers stay under 400whp. Don't quote me on that, I never looked into it.

    Screw the Rex,
    VR6T rules.

Okay...i am in contact with "someone" to see what can be done.

    I am first looking for

    1) Power that is able to increase the low end power. (low boast starting from say 1.5k rpm at 7-14psi)

    2) An economical budget (will post up) - with a detailed breakdown of the labour and parts

    3) The changes to the stock engine (internals / gb / etc) if required

    4) And hopefully spear VR6 ppl towards that setup.

Wish me luck that i will pull through this phase or it shall be the WRX!
