Did you put new strut bearings in as well as the mounts? My bearings pretty much fell apart when I removed my mounts.
So, typical death knock in my front driver side shock area of my Mk3 2.0 .
Pedders have looked at it 4 times, say they have fixed the problem. but it just comes back gradually within the first 100km after they have 'fixed' it.
I am running JOM coils. Changed the mounts when they were installed not too long ago.
But I'm guessing if everything else looks fine, it must be the mounts again?
Any recomendations as what to put in this time?
Was thinking these... look like they might last a bit longer, thoughts?

The rubber mount doesnt usually make the noise its the bearing. And dont take your car to pedders they work in commodores.
