    strong fuel smell

    every time i go and start the car up all i can smell is fuel and its even worse wen i turn the vents on
    any ideas or common places where fuel might be leaking
    thx guys

    Check all the obvious places like fuel lines, fuel filter etc. You may have a small split in a hose etc. If you can't find it easily I'd take it someone, you don't mess about with leaky fuel problems.

    Entry point of the fuel rail, and/or where the crimp in the feed pipe is.

    ^^^^^ Wise words.

    They also leak from where the rubber hose joins the plastic hard line and drips inside the chassis channel and drips from under the car.

    thats exactly where it was jmac thx for that
    it was only the tiniest leak but the smell was so strong
    i just put a new hose clamp on for a quick fix il be needing a new fuel hose i thinks
    and those spring clips arnt much good for anything really
