Spark plug gaps - 1.8 CL

    Hey guys,

I'm sure this has been answered a bunch of times, I've done a bit of a dig around and can't find exactly what I'm after -have found threads on the 2.0L and VR6 but not the 1.8L

Just after the spark plug gap measurement to replace the plugs on my mk3. Even better if someone had a link to a workshop manual that would be amazing and prevent me from posting more short and probably annoying threads

    Thanks,
    Beau

Just use the 2.0 specs . You should be running triple prong plugs anyway that generally cant be gapped .

The plugs I plan on putting in are Bosch triple prongs, was just under the assumption they would need to be gapped??? All I can really find is a gap of .028 from other threads.

Any one else feel like weighing in on this?

    Thanks,
    Beau

if your car isnt from the 60s, dont worry about gapping mate. i think ive done it once and that was in trade school.
