When i win that 90million on tuesday ill buy this
This needed NO engineering. As far a the rta are concerned its a golf and as such is allowed a 1.8, 2L or 2.8L engine.
I simply took the car for an inspection $18 where they checked the engine number and then the RTA changed the papers for free.
The papers say 2.8L with the correct engine number and its insured as a standard VR6. Its indistinguishable from a factory one to all except hardcore golfers.
Cant help you with being so young, you`ll probably grow out of it.

another one should definately be made. Or have it as a listed conversion.

Sorry to revive this thread but..may I ask why you sold a golf this rare for only 9 grand? If i was looking to buy a car and saw that for 12 grand, i wouldnt hesitate to take it...heck, i would maybe even pay 15 grand if nothings wrong with it, and by the looks of it there isnt sorry if I'm missing out on something...
'94 3dr vr6
It might be rare but you have to be reasonable too. A nice vr6 these days will struggle to sell for over 10k so why should an essentially stock vr6 sell for 15k? I think the selling price was fair. Too low and its not worth the hassle to convert it, too high and uve paid 50% higher premium for two less doors.
and performance to match..............
you have got to drive that thing to know that its one of a kind.
it just doesn't loose torque all the way passed 6500rpm
i was really suprised when i drove it
