    Cool should i bore u with another build thread?

    Yeh, i think i will

    ive been really slack of late as we've been moving house and everything has been a frikin mess up! However! For those who dont know, i own a 94 Golf VR6, white in colour and will be using it for track work yew!

    Things i've done to date issss:

    the Vento Front end conversion (off a black vento, hence the black bonnet)
    Standard modified stubby mirrors
    Hella all red tails
    joey modded vento lights
    Kamei lower ducts
    Hella Fogs
    stripped interior, mod plated as a 2seater
    Sparco Pro2000 fixed bucket seat
    Willans 6point harness (waiting on the half(full?) cage to be built)
    removed flares, arial, rear wiper, badge, side trims and waiting on smoothing and respray
    B&M shifter, which had recently fallen apart on me so i had to bolt it (pic attached)
    removed aircon and heater
    Neuspeed lightened underdrive pulleys
    Exedy Sports Ceramic Clutch Kit
    Bildon Motorsports 10lb flywheel
    4.24 final drive (shorter gears)
    Peloquin diff
    neuspeed front 25mm and rear 28mm swaybars
    VF Engineering front rear engine and transmission mounts
    Brembo Grand Turismo kit for the mk4 GTi adapted to fit, includes 330mm 2pc floating discs with 4pot calipers
    braided brake lines
    Motegi RO_JA 17x7
    Toyo Proxes R888
    Drummond Motorsport 50mm Coilovers with Koni 300lb front and 250lb rear springs (from memory) with helpers

    Update 23/12/08
    Samco Hose Kit - Black
    Desmond Regamaster Evo's - Black 17x8 et35 5x100 and fully forged = fully light yo!
    10mm hubcentric/wheel hubcentric spacers front and rear

    Stewart Warner 50mm oil pressure gauge

    New thermostat

    Update 06/07/09
    Big valve head complete with Supertech black nitride oversized valves (+1.3 exhaust, +2 intake), ported and polished to match valves, Supertech dual valve springs, Supertech Titanium retainers, Supertech cam followers, custom in house bronze guides machined up, Cat Cams 290deg cams.
    Schrick intake manifold port matched to head and throttle body

    Update 28/10/09
    Bottom end finished and engine back together!
    Purchased Schroth 6point harness
    Gruven Parts alloy water pump pulley
    Gruven Parts alloy tensioner pulley
    North American front bumper lip
    MK4 aluminium rear calipers with EBC green stuff pads and braided lines
    R32 sump and pump; Baffled and shallower for more ground clearance
    2.9L euro corrado throttle body
    Polyurethane rear strut mounts
    Audi R8 oil cap
    Rebuilt starter motor
    Rebuilt alternator

    Head specs:
    Schrick variable intake manifold
    Supertech stainless nitrided over sized valves +1.3mm exhaust and +2mm intake
    ported and polished to match the bigger valves
    port and gasket matched intake manifold and throttle body
    Manley Viton valve stem seals
    Supertech dual valve springs
    Supertech titanium nitrided retainers
    a pair of Cat Cams 290's
    ARP hardware

    Bottom end specs:
    bored out to 83.5mm = 3L
    Wossner 83.5 forged 11.0:1 pistons
    polished and shot peened rods
    new oem bearings and seals throughout
    fully balanced
    ARP hardware throughout
    C2 Motorsports standard thickness metal head gasket
    Compression ratio worked out at 11.5:1
    R32 sump and pump; Baffled and shallower for more ground clearance

    Update 11/12/09
    Prepped and painted engine bay
    Nardi suede deep corn 330mm steering wheel
    Worksbell quick release to allow interchange between street and track wheel

    Update 07/01/10
    HD strut top mounts
    Coils back in and car dropped back down to earth
    non-abs brakes fitted

    thats it for now me thinks, enjoy the pig below










    Now i wont write up my things to come just incase they dont :p . . .

    Looks great!!! I love it and I bet you will have a heap of fun in it.
    Its the only way to drive fast, in controlled conditions and not on the road.

    thanks guys, ive been walking around laughing just thinking on what reaction the rims will get haha, so far so good, thanks

    and jarred, i had painted the rims black before but decided it was too boring so it was either fluro green or orange


    OH! and excuse the quality of road tire im running! i got different ones on each corner almost

    lol, had a feeling it was wrong (now edited) after accidently drifting round a corner i've now softened the rear up fully and set the fronts to half will squirt round to the idustrial estate soonz to try it
