My mate is doing the spray gun, but even still he aint no painter either, this is like the 3rd thing he's done he's definately still learning and doing a great job with it! So yeh, I guess I might as well be doing it
Does anyone have this Chagall blue here in aus? it's quite pupley?? both the cans I had made and the tins that my mate had made up are the same tint so it's gotta be right??

These guys are Melbourne based. I'm not 100% sure, but I think they'll make you a bonnet. They might not be interested in one-offs, but they'd be worth a try.
Looking Horn Man.
I love the headlight.
That Pistacio Green is a great colour, I`d love to paint a car that colour.
Keep the updates coming, good to see you doing it yourself.

and i'm suprised no has passed comment on how the hell these lights will work! there will be next to no light output now so i've bought a pair of new oem's for street/night driving
You should've went for a projector retrofit. I'm planning to do one in mine some day...
On the bonnet - if you're going to have the car road registered, there are regulations in all states of Australia which prevent carbon fiber bonnets (ones that actually weigh less than stock steel ones0 from being legal - they shatter nastily in a frontal collision, not nice for anyone involved, especially not a pedestrian.
Nothing to see here...
Yeehah!
Sick progress dude!
