hey alex excellent progress especially the wiring work through the grommet on the drivers side arm looks soo tidy.
also thanks for the link i currently have obd1 but will be changing later on
big plans as always.
i can see you have stock fuel lines that travel into the rail i would change them my ones split after 90k my tip is get braided fuel lines i bought mine from american autos one section does two lines and they are nasca rated cost $50
btw those guides are rooted and love the freshly mat painted manifold
The mk4 Metal head gasket RAISES compression, i'm going as hard as i can N/A styles yo! I'm not a fan of turbo's, i'm in love with raw power
lol, i've actually re-routed those wires out of that grommet so you cant see them at all now the fuel lines will be done also, all in time young grasshpper :p
hey mate good work. timing chain and guides are a pain in the rectum.
why wont you be using the head bolts?

Lot of work going on there, should turn out well though. Remember to give the engine bay a detail before it all goes back in!
i may use ARP hardware yet, because i'll be raising the compression a wee bit . . . (not just from the gasket)
I'd love to have the bay smoothed! but i'm just not sure i want to tackle that either haha, oooooohwee, i might get jack of looking at all that stupid sealant they use and scrape it all off i hope i dont though; I am however thinking i may paint the bay the same colour as my interior? . . . . it'll at least get a clean . . .
