    This is true and i wish it had've cuz towing woulda been waaaaay cheaper that way



    Sososo, there are some valuable reputation points up for grabs here! lol, most of my "mechanics" are unavailable today so i'm turning here

    i've pulled apart the inner drive shaft "hub" and found lots of shrapnel in there, refer to pics...




    what smashed and what needs replacing?!

    Thats part of the cv joint, those pieces form a ring to hold the bearings in place. Get a new cv and ur done

    Nice work Alex, one burout too many.

    I`d get a brand new CV kit, comes with grease and new bearings and the boot.

    Expect to pay about $180, I can help if you cant get one up there.

    Get a VR6 German one, lesser ones will fit and break again.
