    Shinjiii's MK3

    Hey Fellow VDubbers,

Ive been lurking long enough on here so i thought it'd be time to share how i came to owning a golf.
So i started of with a 1991 S13 Nissan Silvia.

SR20DE Blacktop, no mods, just a stereo and headlights that didn’t really work. any existing panel damage it had i fixed myself. SOLD for a fraction of what i paid (700 regretful dollars.)

Up till recently i really regretted selling because it was probably the most fun car to drive.

Being i was on my P plates, i wanted something little... faster without going turbo or causing too much hassle with the authorities...

2000 DC2R yellow Honda Integra, with all the tasteful ricey bells and whistles you'd expect from a honda driver

And yes as much as i hate to admit it, VTEC kicked in yo.. thats until that car disappeared..

working in the city really helped me put off buying a car, but catching public transport sucked.. i had some cars in mind (another silvia, honda Jazz) with what i was after but i kept coming back to one thing..

pretty boring picture i know.. i only took this picture because i didn’t know the rego and encase this got stolen i wanted to alest know what my rego was .. it was my first 'car'. something that i thought as getting me from 'A to B'.

until i woke up to this..

All i really did was laugh because there was not much i could do when some f*wit smashes your car at 2AM in the morning.. but never the less, i love fixing things and within 2 days:..

i had repaired my little VW which now after taking much time to write this up, i have come to realise that this car is more the just a car.
Pulling it apart and fixing it, driving it and seeing how much others appreciate it (as well as lurking these forums) has made me realise that i have made the right choice and started on something big!!

SO introducing MY MK3 Gl 2.0 GOLF, low K's, leather interior, log books and no problems. (for now, )

i have plans for the car and hopefully ill posting more as i go along! it would be great to see some of my other Melbourne MKIII'rs

    Pz, Shinjiii

I'll probably do a lot of visual mods/touch ups first, then preformance. I'm really wanting to replace the tint as it's horrible and torn on the rear windows. Would like to colour code skirts and re paint wing, back and font lip.

Can look tacky, so look at the mk3 pic thread sticky for some inspiration on how to pull it off.
