So, in the market for a short shifter. But, checking out the gruvenparts side to side kit. It seems that my plastic part has already been replaced with a metal alternative?
Can anyone analyse that photo and tell me what's up?

get the front to back from dub addiction that replaces the shifter, also the side to side i had both in my vr6. its well worth it. the side to side throw goes on top on the transmission next to the lever.

They are really easy to fit, shouldn't take more than 20min including washing your hands

the original shifter box is very sloppy why dont you put a mk4 2.0 sport 02J shift box in it .thats what ive done with mine .Its pretty easy to do . ill run through the steps if your interested
