I just picked up the VR from the depot, ur right Loon, she does pull hard.

I managed to get the coolant light to come on in the first hour, so it might just need a top up, as the temp gauge wasn't showing it was that hot.

Nice, but that doesn't sound to good :S Might need to check your coolant tank and thermostat!

It's cooling down atm, I'll top up the G12 in a bit... Thermostat eh? looks like I just dived into the world of VR's

Have a look at the coolant levels and like you said give it a top up, but when I bought mine I pretty muched changed the thermostat housing as it was leaking coolant slowly. At present I have pretty much changed the whole cooling system lol, and since I bought my car last October I have had to change coolant 4 times on seperate occasions due to various things lol, welcome to the world of VRs
