    From memory, it's not just the ECU either. The clocks are coded to the ECU so you need those too if you're going to do an ABF EFI transplant.

    Hmmm.. it appears that there is conflicting stories here.. My guy here in canberra thinks that the best option for me is to stick the 1.8 in the SEAT with an autronic or something else managing it... i think this is actually the best option as im going to put a GT28RS or something similar on the 1.8. So i dont need the clocks from the Polo to put in the Ibiza... though a VW dash and interior in an ibiza would look pimp...

    What Pete meant was for a full conversion of the ABF into another car, you would need the clocks, immob etc etc.

    Nothing to do with you swapping a 20VT in.
