    Roofracks for Mk3

Hi thought you lot might know where the roofracks are mounted on the Golf Mk3 and maybe even what they look like (pix anyone), do I have to buy OE or are there after-market ones which use whatever mountings the Golf has?

    Thanks in advance

Search for Thule roof racks on eBay. There was a guy selling a set for the Mk3 (Thule 404) which is the one I have. They clamp under the roof seals where the gutters are. Very easy to fit on and very secure, but best of all, no need for drilling.

The Thule 444 also fits our Mk3s too.

Yeah there should be bike racks compatible with whatever roof bars you run.
