Personally I can't stand any type of multi fit rim, nor any type of chrome rim unless it's the lip of a BBS or Simmons.

But I like your thinking down the light weight vein.

Make it right and go with BBS rims

Those second rims are what I like to call Dinner Plate Rims. You see them everywhere and on any type of car. Be original and go with something unique.

Yeah but those rims suit are cars, you can say that they were made for them. But the other ones you see on all types of cars and are just plain cheezy in my view.

I rekon most guys on here love the clean and traditional lines of the MK3 and thus like the traditional look, but in the end the car is yours and you have to like it. I say BBS style! So your first pic is nice
But alternatively DEEP DISH rims will look awesome and keep the car nice and PHAT, but not those dinner plates haha

Yeap if not those then the BBS Rims. Go for the Mk4 r32 look those rims look hot and suit the car nicely, and I also think that they will suit are cars as well.
