    Removing seats

    In the back...

the base of the seats are easy enough, just an alum key and bang... BUT the back rest is where I'm stuck. I've got the outside edges loose (out of that stupid cavity), but I was wondering how to get the centre join loose...

    This...

haven't worked out what to do there yet......

    Ideas?

I'll both you all soon about the front seats.

rears i have no idea. Havnt got there yet so will be watching
Fronts are easy (now iv been shown, thanks to thestu)
roll the seat all the way backwards, pin at the front needs to be pressed together and pulled out.
Slide the seat foward, at the rear end of the tracks the two plastic caps need to be removed. Chair then slides backwards and off the rails

    dudes...really?

The clips come off and then lean the seat back up again and push towards the middle of the car and pull up...comes straight out!

Awesome mate thanks heaps for that... just force together with pliers or something like that? I'm going to butcher the spare back seat and use it to restuff the bolsters that have gone a bit flat.

Grr shortest day business and post-exam celebrations last night didn't give me enough daylight. Was down to icar iwrecking by iphone ilight.

EDIT: cool cheers stu, and I havent had a play with the seats before, so I'm starting from scratch here.

Cool, backs weren't hard, those screws on either side are fiddly though bit awkward, must be a special tool to get in there.

Probably should have taken some pics and done a 'how to' seeing as this is going to get asked again.

    Tomorrow, fronts out..... hopefully.
