    Random plug in engine bay

I'm sorting out the wiring under the bonnet at the moment and came across this female-end plug not connected to anything:

It's a pretty unique connector - the crimps inside it are perpendicular to each other. Pretty much all other plugs in the engine bay have the crimps sitting on the same axis. That said, I can't seem to find the male-end connector for it.
The plug's attached to a bracket that also holds the hose for the water squirters (also seen in pic). I'm just wondering if it does anything and if I actually need it or not?

    TIA.

So it warms the water when it passes through the hosing? Guess I don't need it then! Thanks Gavin.

Unless you move to Victoria, it's probably not required

I thought it was for the genuine led light for under the bonnet.

I suppose you can use it for such a thing - the wires are just a positive 12V and a negative ground right? Just have to chop that module off.

Edit: Just had a thought about it. The light would only come on when you use the squirters

that could scare the sheet out of you at night, if you weren't 100% concentrating and had a bright enough light!

I've seen that plug lying around in my engine bay as well, it just chills under the rain tray from memory?
