Random engine switch off in gear?

hey guys, my gl has been having a funny issue lately, when in gear slowing down in traffic or coming to lights etc with clutch fully in it drops revs and turns off, and because im still moving i just push start it again but it gets annoying.

its kind of inconsistent, sometime will happen maybe once a day if that, sometime 5 times in the space of 10 mins. Also when slowing down the revs might drop again but catch and not stall, its really weird, but again inconsistent.

pretty sure its not the clutch and changed the dizzy to no avail.

anyone have any similar experiences or know what it may be?

    help would be much appreciated

injection computer relay can cause odd engine cutting out.

Seen that a few times. That will fault anywhere at any speed though. Happened to me at 80mph on motorway in UK once.

Prob worth replacing for a $10 part!?

so i checked the hoses above and no luck, replaced the ECU relay to no avail.
Got it scanned with a computer and no fault codes were shown. Got it scanned by a bigger computer and came up with air flow meter and oxy sensor fault codes. The mechanic said the oxy sensor would show up if the air flow is stuffed. But the codes were able to be cleared and STILL it had the problem!
So then i got some carby cleaner and a brush and cleaned the throttle body for 2 mins and SUCCESS!!!!!!!!! no problems since then! SO SIMPLE!!!

Thanks to everyone who helped, if this ever happens to you do that first and save yourself a lot of trouble
