radiator fans not running
on my vr6 my radiator fans don't run at all. the engine just gets hotter and hotter, and they never kick in.
i've checked everything, fuses 19, 4, and 6 in the main fuse box and the two in the fan control module under the coolant bottle.
the fans run because i unplugged the fan switch and bridged the two connections on low and high speed.
i assume i need a new fan switch that plugs into the radiator? but i've just replaced the radiator, and the fans were working fine before i replaced it.
any suggestions?

bumping this.
turns out the brown (rhs) coolant temperature sensor that i bought brand new was faulty. i put back in the old one and the fans now work, but they come on too late.
the temp gauge swings right past halfway before the fans even come on. it seems to get to just under 110 before they even switch on.
surely someone knows the answer to this.

Get another coolant temp sensor and fan switch.
Your thermostat might have something to do with this as well. Check it an any associated connection (why I carn't think rite now, I don't know).
Oh an are u using water or coolant or have u been topping up with water over your coolant ? This could also be a factor as to why it go's that high.
