If you're confident in doing work yourself, an r32 swap will probably make a much faster car then you would make from spending the same amount of money on modifying the 12v 2.8 VR6. Do a few little simple bolt on mods to the r32 and you'd have one hell of a quick little car that would probably destroy most of the heavily worked 2.8 vr6's out there. The most complicated thing will probably be all the electrical stuff, it would probably be easiest to run it on standalone. Mechanically it should just bolt in.
