R32 or r36 Engine Conversion idea

I found a 2.8 Vr6 for $350 with a knock they dont know what is wrong with it. what do you guys recon

If you're going to tear it down and completely rebuild it up to get it ready for a big turbo or something, id go for it

If there's something seriously wrong, you could probably atleast still use some parts or maybe try and sell it again haha, worst case scenario, you could make an awesome top gear style coffee table

coffee table is a good idea haha that would be so cool to keep in my garage

but yeah plans are to strip it and inspect for damage and if its in good condition ill bore it out to 3.0L and forge the internals , bigger valves ,cams to hit 5-600hp street/track driven

and for engine management im thinking lugtronic.

Ive got a 2.8L 12v head thats a perfect base for a project like this, its only done 130k kms and is in good as condition if you want it ill part with it for $220 and im sure someone could take it back to melbourne from GAD next weekend if you're not coming up..

thats sounds good but i gota wait untill i ge this engine strip it apart. but ill let u know asap
