    That's a real good price.

You'll get a warranty with it too.

Huh. Would have told him to get stuffed. Haha. I've never had that said to me an I've bought a few engines from wreckers.

You'd be able to get it covered by fair trading if something was internal broken as the conversion as no effect whatsoever on the product.

    For fun facts:

Swapped mk3 r32 with a LSD will hit 12's. If your a good driver.

    Doubt it .

My R32 which weighs 1200kg (lighter than a mk3) , runs a best of 13.3 @ 104 mph . Has traction issues off the mark as well .
Engine makes 297hp as well , over 50hp more than the stock one .
Id say high 13s to be more realistic

Paul (need_a_vr6) done 12.95 with 22" slicks and no rear seat. Furthermore; he done 13's with a basically stock 12v and stripped.

He done 12.5 with the 3.94rp, fine tuning megasquirt and no interior basically.

back to the topic is it worth doing this conversion ? If i was to go Turbo with 2.8 or r32 to get 400-600hp which one would be cheaper to get that sort of power ? remember its going to be a 1/4mile and a street at the same time
the r32 looks like it would be fun to do but pricey and plus i would have to strip and forge the internals im guessing due to it having 11.3:1 cr.
I was also thinking of boring the 2.8 to 3.0L and forging.
    Am i making sense ?

It would be cheaper to do the 2.8 route. They can get to 250fwkw on stock internals. Headspacer or low comp pistons you'll make your goals easy.

To get that much you will basically look at running at standalone. C2 can support 400~hpwith a chip but, not really certain they will be 100% here.

Either way, 3.2 or 2.8 turbo. It'll be the same wiring just about. But much more costly to do 3.2
