not yet, still debating what to get
i really dont want to lose comfort so looking for a reasonably priced cup kit
i cut a big chunk out of the airbox on the fender side where the original intake was plumbed to.
and took it into a exhaust shop to remove suitcase. cost me $50
Wow! Where'd you pick up the shrick from? Thoughts and opinions on it!?
This escalated quickly

Nice!!
the schrick'd up VR bays are starting to grow on me
the Schrick:
i got mine from vortex paid 1000 for it but incomplete needed a rpm switch which was 60 bucks. but anyway,
don't expect any noticeable gains under 3K.
power between 3-4 is very different.
instead of having to rev past 4k you can drive the car fast between 3-4k almost to the point where you see no real benefit of revving any higher. (not because the flap isnt opening because that you can really feel)
it actually makes the power up high feel weak and slow i think if you get it you really need cams to keep the top end punchy.
(from what i can feel as it may have increased top end power but its unnoticeable, only difference here is that at 5.5-6k the power doesn't drop off as dramatically as the stock)
and it must flow better than the stock intake if you look inside it is massive compared.
final verdict:
makes car feel slow when you stretch it out
makes the car feel fast when working the Mid-range.
pricey but holds its value i guess.
if you have spare cash go for it.
(i think cams are a must if you don't want to be dissapointed up top)
whats the blue wire coming out the middle there?
