Question Mk4 Seats in Mk3

Real shame you guys don't get the 16v GTI these seats are awesome afaik most if not all vw seats are made by recaro, it's just that some are badged recaro



Anyway, pm user 'gtivr6' he's fitted front and rear mk4 seats to his VR

They have gone into another mk4 - I forget his user name atm... It's a 2L

Thats why i went the Cobra route Steve, $1700 for the front pair including subframes that bolt straight in. They mighty sweet too And before anyone asks I haven't take any pics coz my cam is busted, full update soon tho

Dom (dom123) also has a similar set-up too. I'd favour the Mk4 seats though as they provide more of an OEM feel.

Yeah if I went aftermarket I wouldn't be able to leave the rear bench in I don't know it would feel weird

you need some integra type R seats lol

the 99/00's had the recaro's .. 2001+ had the generic recaro's which are less bulky as mentioned

As bsting said I have Mk 4 leather recaros in my VR. We had access to a Mk4 wreck and cut the seat rails out of it and welded them into the car rather than muck around with the bases. Mine are heated too
