Like Tim said, it may even help with cornering with reduced sidewall flex. I say "may" as this is what I've heard. The first time I've heard of stretching tyres was in drifting. If stretched tyres can stay on a car that is driven sideways most of the time, it should be able to withstand a few twisties!

Thumbs up Quick Update - Autofest or bust

Hey Fellas, have not posted in here for a while so I shall do it now

Well I have had a bit of a set back in regards to my paint respray Cause of the long weekend idiots on the road thought "Oh I know I'll crash my car" WANKERS!!! My respray has been pushed back to tomorrow from Tuesday had the car ready and everything to go! So tomorrow morning the car will go in minus a few things and shall be sprayed and touched up:]

I have taken the wheels off the car and now sitting back on the BBS, the 928's will get a bit of attention, also going to spray the adapters heat resistant black, just to make sure it looks stockish I am also respraying my calipers black in the process, as and cause of the 928's you can't really see anything so I thought why not, pretty useless painting them red or something lol.

Have also discussed about shaving the hatch of my car with the painter and we came to the conclusion that it will be done aswell, looking at about $500 maximum to strip the whole back hatch, take out the window weld the bagde, weld the wiper, but leave the recess as I personallythink it adds a nice touch to the car

It will be ready by Thursday I am told, so I have to pick it up from there in the morning and then rush to the exhaust place where I will be sporting a new exhaust 2.5" cat back Magnaflow exhaust They are really sweet and would rate them very high with the remus exhaust!

Then I leave on Friday to Canberra for Autofest, christ all mighty. The Americans have H20 or bust I have Autofest or bust lol

Make sure you leave your other half in sydney. Those motor girls would be like " nice hot ride stevie boy, wanna give me a ride, perhaps vise versa."

Decided to go for bigger front disks and brakes only slightly but can't complain really Getting 288mm front disks with Green Stuff brake pads put in on Thursday. I didn't want to lose the slotted look I have at the moment with the brakes so I decided to get them slotted to

Also need to have new brake lines made up so there getting done also, will be spraying these calipers black as you won't see the things anyway lol. I have pondered over the thought of the 312mm upgrade, but at the moment I am not looking at doing any track days, just the odd spirited run through the national park or something! As well as the 312mm upgrade I have been told that you need new calipers, carriers, brake lines and a few other nigly bits to make that brake concoction work:] Then there is the slotted part for looks aswell lol
