Pretty much this car will be more than likely impracticle.

It won't be ready for the Nats but it will definately be ready this year, its in the capable hands of gods of VWs...

I'm a little bumbed but with it at the moment its way to good to just rush and put it back together.

Wasn't there any option to re-route the power steering lines and stuff to make it cleaner? No power steering would really annoy me in a car like the vr lol...

    hooray for progress.

No not really it would be pretty hard solid lines that you would have to go through the chassis kinda very time consuming.

OK, so I have failed t mention what has been done with the car lately and well this really isn't a update ust more of what has been done to the engine wile its been in he capable hands of Camden GTI

    Main Bearing
    Big End Bearings
    Thrust washers for crank
    Ring Set
    Head Bolts
    24v head gasket
    Descale and hone bores
Stage 1 port and Polish on head
Head skimmed, pressure tested, reseat valves, valve stem seals
    Sump gasket
    Rear main seal
    New VW flywheel bolts
    New timing chains
    New waterpump

    On car Repainted:
    Subframe
    Rollbars
    Control Arms
    Steering rack and frame

    Suspension:
    New bushes
    New engine mounts
    New driveshafts
    New bearings
Basically everything is new at the front!

Thats just the engine but there are others that I won't really say. Alot of work that was done previously has had to be cleaned u cause another shop was incompitent, yep he knows who he is!

I still need to find a few items that need to be sent to paint and what not but with this almost completed, and will be done by this year it will travel to Autofest in Canberra and DOVW in Melbourne.

More progress in the next few weeks.

But I will leave people with one pic to gawk at for the time being....
