Pretty nooby question but after the past week i just want peace at mind..

So after a bad week, me being involved in an accident and then the day i get into my vr6 the water pump died.. It has now been replaced and topped up however when i drove it home their must've been an air gap in the cooling system so it needed topping up further when i got home with it from camden gti.. Just a quick question to all vr6 owners out there.. What temperature should a vr6 sit on because my strays between 80 and 90? nooby question i know but it's bugging me :face palm:

    Cheers, Eddie

In summer my 2.0 sits on 90. in winter it is between 70 and 90. Seriously if it doesnt go above 90, I wouldnt be worried.

Yeah those temperatures are very normal. Can watch the oil temperature in the mfa to make sure your not overheating. The vr6 runs pretty hot, if its a warn day and your giving it a push temps of over 110 are fine
