    Went to check-out the car today. The engine sounded fantastic, started first time and wasn't missing a beat! The interior was also in very good condition for its age. Unfortunately, what they don't mention in the ad (or over the phone) is that the left-hand side of the car is a bit damaged. It looks as if the pervious owner hit some low object which as a result has scraped and dented the entire length of the door sill on the passenger side of the car. The left-rear door was also mis-aligned.

    Apart from that, a mechanically sound, great little car! It's just that the repair costs would be more than what the car was worth.

    If anyone is still interested in the car, I purchased the CarFacts report, so just PM me with your email address and I'm more than happy to send it to you.

    I'm still on the hunt for another Mk3!
