Haha mate, Sounds like your really really excited, Well i hope all the best goes for you buddy
Cheers Chad.
PROBLEM SOLVED ...... look what I scored today.
After having my K&N for less than a week, not knowing how to make the best use of the funnel shaped design.....Mate of mine pratically gave me his filter as he has no use for it, well until I pay him.....
My excitment is what I can DO with this filter.
Look at this...
FROM this
To this

Does this snokle plastic thing look familiar.
also look at this...
Can you guess what I am trying to say/ do?
YEP... the plastic thing is from OEM air box, it fits perfectly on the filter, all I need to do is extend the piping then I will have EASY & coolER air intake. My original filter would probably work better as to surface area difference... but would need much more material and labour for same project, I jsut don't know how to use it.
HEy just a big thank you for all who contribute and helped me understand how a pod filter works in my last post.

Sure...
The funnel shaped one is RX -3900
The cylindrical shaped one is RR-3003
Actually they are universial 3" and k&n has only 3 types I think.
I have tried both, can not feel a difference at all.
they range from $90- $110 Cheaper than a pannel filter![]()
