Well sort of. There's an oil leak on my VR6. It looks like it's coming down the front of the engine block. It's a bit wierd as it leaks sometimes and then it won't leak for a while, then it will do it again.Has anyone had similar problems? Does the VR6 just leak like an eccentric european car? Is there a problem common to all VR6's? Any ideas?

its quite common to get a constant drip from the oil cooler seal.
What would happen if i unscrewed the oil cooler to replace the seal? Do i need to drain the oil first? I just changed the oil so that would be a pain. Is there anything i need to look out for?(haven't got a workshop manual yet)

Oil pressure switch???

just did mine a week ago. had the same leak as u but it was constant. Its the two O rings in the oilcooler housing or something. The rings are maybe 5-7cm in diameter. Call Jacksons for em. Cheap. cost me about $15 forthe two.
