    I thought a kit was about 8 - 10 hours to install

    Max $100 a hour = $1000

I would hate to think how much a turbo would cost to install, as it is a lot more work.

Do you have a good clutch and a LSD?

Anymore info on the car, what kind of suspension and brakes are you running?

yeah your right, 8-10 hours, but the invoice i got from volkspwer doesnt show how much hours they worked on the charger alone, come to think of it, i dont think it shows how much hours they worked period.
They couldnt get me a ruff estimate from the beggining, money is not really an issue to me, they can charge me whatever is nessessary, as long as they do a good job and they advise me what there doing. in this case they did a good job, but communication, there wasnt any.

Edit: I have on order a custom clutch from Exedy, thanks to my bro!, should get that first week of next year. no LSD, yet... got the good ol' Hot tunning coilovers and slotted DBA Brakes all round...

One thing to note was this kit was for a corrado. From my understanding some modifications were needed to be made to get it to fit.

Yeah true but when I spoke to VF they said it would be pretty much a straight bolt it all you need is the chip

Either way for that money you could have paid for a brand new one and installed for less I think.

    Anyway....

Thought it would be a good idea to show the difference between with or without the charger...
    First:
what it sounded like without the charger, stock engine, stock exhaust, with pod filter: (sorry about the quality)

Now for the charger, stock exhaust, podfilter, vf charger.
