    no 12v to rear window

Hi. Have three working electric windows and one rear one that is dead on the daughters Mk3 Golf.
Looking through the threads, it seems common for the regulators to break. However, I've had the door trim off and I removed the metal cover over the motor to find it in excellent condition. I can turn the armature over by had and the window moves up/down just fine. The armature is in as new condition and brushes are fine.
I swapped switches with the other rear door and they both work perfectly.

I don't have any 12volt to the large wire of the motor/regulator plug at all. Ground (brown wire) is fine to earth.
There is only one 15amp fuse for the power windows which is obviously okay as the other three windows work, and I pulled the fuse and relay box down from under the dash and checked the auto reset fuse and looked for any poor connections without any faults to be found.

So it seems to me that somewhere between the fuse box and the door motor there's a break.
What I'm asking is if there are any common areas where this might occur. eg: on my BMW it's common for older looms to break going through the hinge area of the tailgate and stuff like that.

If someone has tackled this problem before and knows of any junctions in the power windows circuit that have common problems, I'd appreciate knowing about it please.

i guess checking where the wires go from the body to the door as that would be a stress point. Ive seen wires broken in there before but in a front door.
