    Newspeed Top strut bar

Just looking at fitting my top strut bar and it knocks on the very end of coolant bottle were the hose starts, if you try and put it on flat and it wont sit flush:

lookin at pics from other vr6's & how they fit theres and every one seems to fit it with the hose looping over the top like this:

I was wondering if there is a different shaped coolant bottle off later model vr6 thats shaped differently so it will sit flush?, or if not is there a connection i could put on the end of the coolant bottle to dump the hose down so i can sit the strut bar flush cause it looks a bit looping the hose over the top!?

couple of people have had this issue. Matty T was the last person I can think of that had it. basically everyone before that just jammed it on. when the bolts are in place, it stays where it should.

I think the best option would be to replace the hose that goes from the "T" connector to the reservoir with an angled one... or is it the actual reservoir that is stopping it from going on?

AFAIK there isn't any different OEM replacement

Just get generic elbow fittings and hose clamps and use your standard hose to make something up. All auto spares places will have em.

yeh thats what i thought. most of the fitments and tubes for that reservoir are pretty bendable.
