Haha, can't wait to see pics of your wheel collection.
Ive been quoted under 100 before so u might beable to find it cheaper. I guess anything less than the dealer is good but.

Yeah im a bit of a wheel nut (pardon the pun!)
Spent a year trying to find a certain style wheel to fit my Skyline in a good offset (which is practically impossible in Australia!)
I found them in the end though

Haha nice. Can't wait what you will pull off with the Golf.
thats crazy!!! i got quoted $45 for an correctly coded (but uncut) key from Chatswood Classic Cars (the closest VW dealer to my workplace) i went to a key cutter and they said it would be around $30 to cut it.
I'm in the same boat with my key - only got 1 left
that is a nice skyrine mate i'm liking the lack of pillar on that thing
again, welcome to the forums! there is so much you can do to these babies and there is always group buys going on for awesome parts.
I had the same issue. From McGrath Liverpool:
Key: $61.44
Programming: $126.50
Key cut from a local locksmith, ~$10.
So yeah, $197.94 for a spare key AND they needed the car for a couple of hours (read all day) to "program the key". Sure it means they can check and make sure it works, but still... all day...
The locksmith who cut the key for me said he could do a full aftermarket key, coding and cutting for ~$160. By this point I had already bought the key so passed. Maybe next time.
With a late model car you have two options since you have the immobiliser:
1. Pay the money, get a spare key, NEVER loose or break it.
2. Pull the chip out of your current key, glue it to the immobilser reader thingy behind the steering wheel (inside the shroud for neatness sake). Then get some spare keys cut. Sure you loose the immobiliser, but then you can get SWITCHBLADE KEYS!!! mmm shiny.
Technically you could also go after market and get someone to remove/disable the OEM one and put in some remoteless fancy thing.
Let us know if you find somewhere cheap to provide coded keys.
