Shouldnt cost me that much I reckon. Have a great new source for doing the welding, got a 1300$ welding job on my R31 done for 300$ by a very reputable SA automotive welding/car resto place who ill be taking the car to soon for some other bits and pieces

Well last nite as I was dropping a lovely lady at home, my clutch pedal decided it would be nice to stay stuck to the floor and lose all pressure, meaning I couldnt engage and disengage the clutch, right in the middle of a big intersection!
After RAA came out to have a look, it appears the clutch cable hasnt infact snapped like I had first expected, but something between the end of the cable and the box has shat itself
Seeing the car on a car trailer was a sad sight for me TBH!
Off to a shop Monday morning to get sorted out, how it doesnt cost me too much

On the good side however, my new VR6 Euro lip arrived this morning, THANKS TIM!!

    Cheers Mickey!

I went and bought a Haynes manual today, realised its pretty bloody hard to source a Bentley manual here in Adelaide, and still found it hard to find the Haynes one!

I got mine off ebay $70 bucks shipped to the door - brand new.

as for the clutch problem, I had that happen... i think i posted something about it a while back. can you pull the clutch off the floor with your hand? it should stay up but then it will snap back down as soon as you touch it again.

i'll see if i can find the thread

    edit: found it

this explains what happened in my case...

it sound like pretty much exactly the same thing, so you'll be pleased to know that it will cost you about $13 to fix.

Is it just a spring mechanism that falls out, causing the clutch pedal NOT to come back up? I've heard of that problem before. Gosh I hope it doesn't happen to me

Bad timing too I must say, aye Lorenz??
