I don't think you'd have much trouble picking up a set of 312mm front brakes from a Mk4 V6 4Motion Bora (not mine, they're already sold, I have Mk4 R32 brakes now) FWD Audi TT, which are pretty much a bolt-on proposition, and painting the calipers in a nice colour if you want bigger/prettier brakes.

I don't see why the big fuss about big brakes? In most cases (the VR6 being one of them) big brake upgrades aren't really an improvement on a street car. Total waste of money just to fill up behind the wheels. Just get some good slotted rotors and paint your calipers a nice colour if you are going to worry about that, if you ask me.
