Neuspeed is da shizzle!

Hey Guys,
Finally got the front sway bar on and all i can say is WOW! After driving around with a rear sway bar only for about 2 months I can tell you the front does make a noticeable improvement to handling. If anyone tries to tell you you only need a rear and the front makes no difference they are talking rubbish n: I have much more steering and the whole front end feels tight as a drum. A particularly nice corner on the way home from work which I normally take at 80kph (totally on the limit) I can now take comfortably at 80kph and will try for 85kph on Monday

Highly recommended mod guys, bang for your buck I think it's hard to beat swaybars, especially the Neuspeeds.

Can you give a little more specifics on the size of the bar you bought versus the size of the stock bar you replaced? Sounds like you made a good purchase. Also, if you'd be willing to write a review on the part with a few more bits of data, I'd love to get it added to the Mk3Love Parts Reviews.

Actually I'm not sure of the diameter of the front bar as Neuspeed only make one. The rear bar is a 28mm item, I believe they also have a 25mm option.

front swaybar is a tough one cos its always gonna depend on the rest of your suspension setup. Havaing the bigger rear bar in your case would probably make it a worthwhile mod.

Im running PSS9 coilovers on my VR6 and the rear 25mm bar. The front springrates are quite high on that setup (around 400lbs from memory) but seems to be a nice neutral setup with the stock front bar. was terribly understeery without the rear bar

Adding more front bar I think would reduce front end grip in my case. But yeah as i said it all needs to work together. Sounds like you hit a sweet spot

I would be tempted to do mine when engine out but the money factor and availability is weighing me down. Good on you tho!!

The rear bar definitely made the most difference, as you say Tim it was very understeery without it, massive amounts of steering after it was installed. I think the biggest improvement i've noticed with the front bar is the precision of the steering, it goes EXACTLY where you point it. Just need some stickier tyres now
