I didn't have the money either, had to wait a week I only put in a bid for $200 too... I wasn't expecting to win, nor hoping.

But I reckon the centre caps on the steelies are cool.

Perhaps look out for a set of a mk 1, polished up might look good. Even with out the flush fit, I reckon teh caps look cool.

Thanks Jarred I actually DO have a Mk1 steelie centre cover but I have NO CLUE how to mod them to fit... but I agree, they look awesome with the dome shape and its polished-goodness... I might just have to think harder.

I'd use some of the mk 3 centre cap as a "base" to fit onto the wheels/nuts.

then glue or similar the polished cap onto the mk 3 centre cap/"base". mk 3 cap might need to be cut down/up to fit the mk 1 cap on, but it could be worth it!
