    Amazing!

It's 2am Saturday morning and my eyes are wide open reading this one Ray, awesome job! Don't fight the urge to keep going. Finish this car to a standard u will be happy with, all or nothing!

At the end of the day, jerks have to spend $800 on cv's for their stock pulsars and $2500 getting the auto sorted on their Daewoo Cielos and dont get me started on those p.o.s Holden Epica things..

It cost less to run a MK3 Golf Period! So you can spend as much as you want on mods, but it's still a good use of ca$h..Make sure u get it all insured though. When I wake up tomorrow, i'm gonna wash my Golf and let my kids vacum the interior..which I will then have to re-do..Mk3 all the way! Again...Great Job Ray! The King is dead, long live the king!

    Nice one, looks good !
Could you get away with smoothing the europlate space out too? and moving the plate down a bit?

    Cheers for the comments guys

Yeah the Euro plate can be smoothed over too, but may be a bit harder as the bumper top is part of the recess too, so that will have to be smoothed over too. With the angles and everything, it'll be hard to do, but it's possible. That said, I haven't seen any out there. Most are just the US bumpers which don't have the recess in the first place.

    Looking horn Ray.

Why not put the skinnier wheels on the back to get you mobile for the cruise and stop you chopping up your tyres?

I agree with Matt, Ray I did this for the Nats I was having so much rubbing issues I had just put the wheels on the car and was having so much scraping I swapped the adaptors around until I had my Coilovers just to get rid of the issue, now nothing
I'm soo euro even my missus is shaved...

I'm envious! I've seen a whole lot of shaved bumpers on the net but I never knew it was a DIY job. Is that the final colour of the bumper of is it just a primer coat, because a nice thick respray will hide a lot of the minor imperfections. Looks great.

With the coilovers, even my set with stock VR6 size rims scrape the guards a bit, but don't shred the tyres, only the guard liner. Maybe you need to go a bit higher in ride height?

The skinnier wheels and adapter is on now, and still rubs, but not as much. It's just my ****ed up alignment that I don't want to be driving too far. I'll make the short journey to Livo though.
