I'm with you on the mesh. The old school Impul and Enkei mesh looks so good on AE86s!

Haha but I will be 5 stud now! Don't think I'll be turning back!

That looks so tuff, love it!

Oh, and on that note; your DIY stuff is a gold mine too, can't wait to actually do some of that stuff!

you are insane rayray, you are so damn clever and creative. just wondering, is having your wheels sticking out from your fenders actually legal?

Haha nope, neither is using adapters. Then again, neither is most of the modifications we do to our cars Legally, I'd need an engineer's certificate for the adapters. To be honest I'm taking a lot of chances here, but I believe I'm responsible enough not to cause any trouble (or harm for that matter) for anyone.

Troy, these are actually the third set of BBS RS that I've had First was a set of 16x7 (RS174) that I wanted to redrill, but couldn't as the centrebore was too big. Second set was 15x6.5 (RS224) in a redrilled 4x100 pattern and had plans to widen them, but I was in the mindset that I was going to sell the car. They've gone to a fellow dubber though So now I've got this set (RS225 is the 8") but have gone down the adapter route. I'm determined to make it work but it'll take a while. Oh, and I also have a single BBS RS wheel I picked up for $20 I'm planning to rebuild and refurbish it myself for kicks and just use it as a display or table or somethin'.

And I think you meant the RS301! That's the 17" BBS RS wheel with a 5x100 pattern and 57mm centrebore. RS001 is the 15" versions with 4x100 pattern and 57mm centrebore. Those wheels would be bloody hard to find ANYWHERE in the world, let alone Australia. Very sought after (mainly by VW modders due to the specs) and even standard sets can fetch a lot of money.
