As everyone has said its awesome to finally see some details of the setup posted on the net!
Looks like you have invested some big dollars into her.
Whats your view on your turbo choice after the fact? Are you happy with how it comes on or does it spool too fast for a fwd? If you had your time over would you pick the same turbo again?
Ive been slowly piecing together my own setup and im still stuck on which way to go.

I was looking at the GT28rs, which would have come on earlier but according to my turbo advisor said it may choke up a little at higher rpm.Quote:

Reliability, its a custom high power VR6.
I had some clutch shudder issues on the new clutch, pulled it out and basically re-made the clutch plate and it is much better now.
Cooling system seams to be fragile in the heat, 40C plus bu that can be said for a lot of VR6's.
Have only broken 1 inner CV joint, that was at Portland VW drags earlier in the year. On semi slicks changing into second.
Not to bad really.

Unfortunately Portland is 1/8 mile, which the car is not really suited to imo. Best time i got was 8.8, but had problems all weekend with missfires and didn't have traction control at the time.

Well I had the opportunity to take some more photos of the turbo and manifold setup this week due to having to remove the turbo to repair the turbo coolant hoses that had been affected by the heat. The high quality coolant hose that I had used just went hard and crack causing a nice steam haze on the way to work on wednesday.

They give you a better idea of how tight it is behind the engine when you put a GT30 back there.
are those tri clover clamps i see there
iv never seen them on a car before
