No helper springs? Thats probly why they go lower than most coilovers. Take the helper springs out and you drop another 3". Have a go in my mk1 and you wont complain about the harsh rid anymore haha.

Thouse shizzy chinese chin spoilers always shatter. I had one half german and one half chinese and the chinese one always smashed.

BTW bro, if you aint rubbin you aint dubin. Slam that shiz and forget about the rest.

what influenced your k-sport decision? 2g buys you a lot of coilover for the money. like weitecs, or bilsteins... not that it isn't entirely your choice what you do with it.

btw, you could tuck the front waaay more.. i haven't seen a lower rear end in aus though.

uhm i looked into the bilsteins, but found that they were a bit more once installed. like 3g.

i read up on ksports and not many have them in AUS on their golfs, but the US guys seem pretty happy with them (as am i). They handle like a dream, even when low. and who could resist the fluro orange

Yeah ive been looking into the front. the rear used to be an inch lower, however it would scrub so hard without people in the back that the top of the wheel arches have paint missing. so i thought i might put it up a bit.

my main concern with the front is scrubbing when turning. ill keep u posted with the front end

The Ksports have an adjustable shock body don't they? I can't seem to find a pic but essentially, the strut can be split into two parts, the lower mount brackets and the threaded column. Basically you can have an insanely low ride, yet still have the suspension travel (adjusting the lower mount brackets to sit higher on the threads).

You can see the locking collar just above the lower mount brackets in this pic.

yeah i can have them on lowest possible setting and still have a fair amount of travel..which has its own problems but yes they are freaking amazing.

but mine dont have that locking collar...weird.
theres a pic of mine further back in the thread if u wanna take a look.

    Unhappy

    some semi bad news.

I got a look under the car today, as it was on a hoist and it was noted that my drive shaft hits the chassis when i hit bumps which isn't the best. Here are some pics. As it stands its only rubbing paint off my 2 month old driveshaft... hopefully it doesn't get worse.

and heres one of my battering ram

    i mean engine sump
