Thanks guys, I am getting a family friend to do the clutch now, he has just built a VR6 for another guy, random because he specializes in Subaru's. I will hopefully be getting it done by him soon as he is local too.

    Well...

Yesterday, I took it to my trusty mechanic and he started pulling it down straight away.
Some bad news, the things that need attention:
-All engine/gearbox mounts are completely buggered.
-Clutch is cooked and the clutch fork has a huge crack through the middle of it.
-Front bushes in the control arms are again, buggered - With polyurethane? ones being put in (meant to be stronger)
-Suspension is shot to bits which I knew about when I bought it.
-Still trying to find that leak, but possibly think its the pollen filter carrier, which has a foam seal at the bottom of it, what do you guys think?

    Good News...

I will be replacing it all with new OEM parts, apart from the bushes and will save up for some meaty coilovers! I can get some nice ksport ones off a friend who is a suspension supplier/fitter.

    Thanks!

Okay guys, Spoke to my mechanic, it is almost done now and everything is looking good.
Received a new door handle from rayray who did me a great deal on one, which will save me a million hassles regarding that stupid broken handle.
Will post pics and such soon.

Thanks bud, yeah I am really excited to get it back, I am kinda broke now! So I will try and get some cheap shocks/springs to replace the stock suspension, until I can afford coilovers in a few months!
What would be a good option for shocks/springs? I just want some cheapies.

    hey guys,

Well...got the car back, and its awesome now!

I got front bushes done, exhaust welded up, few things tighten up, new clutch and clutch fork, bearings and bushes all done. New fluid and such. Feels great to drive now!

I also fixed that leak too, I managed to clean the whole left passenger side of the engine bay, near the rain tray ( thanks to the user who helped me with this) and I cleaned the whole area, dried it out, and reattached the pollen filter carrier with silicone sealant around the joins, fitted with a new pollen filter and reassembled..good as new! Now I have a bone white pollen filter, instead of a black ones full of leaves and dirt!

Inside of the car, where the water entered in and where is sat at the passenger foot well, I pulled out all of those rubber grommets which were old, cheesey, crusty and filthy, replaced them with new rubber units from VW and silicone sealed them too, also fitted new insulation too from the rubber/foam people; Clark Rubber.

Everything is refitted back in, carpet, plastic trim, glove box, passenger seat and it all sounds, feels, looks good so far!
Fitted a new K&N airfilter too, with the airbox mod, again, awesome mod that is very cheap!
Car is now badged too, hairdryer and some fishing wire and it came off very easily, will need to buy new adhesive and refit them to the correct position on the car!
Manifold Cover? the plastic cover on the engine with 2.8 DOHC or whatever it says, has a crack through the middle, I will bog this up, sand it back and just respray it to new condition.

Today; ordered new Mk4 Gearknob again as the other one I bought never arrived, so got a refund and bought from another seller and also bought a carbon fiber stubby antenna.

    Some piccys...

    Pollen filter all reassembled...

    Before...

    After!

    K&N...

    Airbox Mod...

    Cracked cover...

This was the floor pan before...

and imagine this all scrubbed up nice and clean with new rubber plugs with sealant around it..didnt get a pic.

Am now looking for new spark plugs, leads and coilovers/new shock & springs...

    Advice please! thanks
